A guide to a strong immune system

“A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.” But how do we keep ourselves healthy? With our busy routines, we barely get enough time to take care of ourselves properly. 


Here are a few ways in which we can improve our immune system: 


  1. Eating habits

Try eating whole foods, fruits, vegetables and lean protein. Avoid eating saturated fats and unhealthy foods. Try to eat natural sugars instead. Stick to a balanced diet. To make it cost effective, you can also try meal prepping. 


  1. Fitness

While it is important to eat well, it is also important that we are physically active. This doesn’t mean just going to the gym. Exercise can be of many forms. You can play a sport, dance or even go for a walk.  


  1. Sleep

Sleep is extremely crucial for maintaining a healthy body. A person needs around 6-8 hours of sleep per night. It reduces stress levels. It also prevents you from becoming sick so often. It improves your heart rate and metabolism. 


  1. Vaccinations

It is important that both children and adults are up to date with their vaccinations. It is also important to be aware of the additional immunizations while travelling. 


  1. Avoid drinking and smoking 


These are a few ways in which you keep yourselves fit and healthy. Having a healthy lifestyle can benefit us in many ways.
